Last year's Pride was as splendid as we had hoped...fabulous costumes, happy faces, fun and laughter.

The weekend of Friday, 17th August to Sunday, 19th August 2007 saw the return of LGBT Pride to Sligo Town in the northwest of Ireland.
With time for much more planning to be put into things this year's parade was much more colourful than the 2006 one.
The weather was kinder this year as well, which helped make the Beach BBQ on the Sunday a much more pleasurable experience.
People came from near and far to give their support to the 2007 Northwest LGBT pride event - including a group who travelled all the way from Scotland to take part in the festivities.
Well done to everyone who helped make this event the roaring success that it was - organisors and participants alike.

2007 Photo Album

:2006:

The weekend of 25th to 27th August 2006 saw the first ever LGBT Pride event in the northwest of Ireland.
It took place in Sligo town.
Despite the fact that much of the organisation was done at the last minute, it proved to be a huge success, with well over 100 people turning up to march in the Pride Parade on the Saturday.
