ACCOMMODATION This year we are again inviting participants to stay at the Clarion Village apartments, where we will have a presence over two blocks and a great community party atmosphere prevails. You'll get to hang out with old friends and new faces, have easy access to transport to events and to Sligo town centre...and all for €25 per person per night!
The apartments are owned by Albanne Properties, who have been great supporters of Northwest Pride since its first year. The apartments are self-catering and equipped with all you need for a comfotable weekend away. Each room (single or double) is self-locking and many are ensuite. The apartments are located behind the Clarion Hotel, Clarion Road (near Sligo IT).
Please book your accommodation as early as possible. Email northwestpride@gmail.com or call/text 087 989 0336 with a name, contact number, number of beds required and number of nights you will be staying for. Please let jus know if you ahve any special needs and we will try to accommodate them! Apartments are available from Thursday morning, 6th August. If you need to arrive before that date, please contact us as soon as possible. Please book directly through Northwest Pride!
TRANSPORT Getting to Pride... see Bus Eireann or train from Dublin see Railways or to Sligo Airport from Dublin, Manchester & London You can also fly to Knock airport, Co. Mayo (approx 45 min drive) and car hire is available there.
Transport during Pride This year we are delighted that events will be happening in new places as well as Sligo town! There will be bus transport from the Clarion Apartments to: Exhibition & Launch event, Manorhamilton: Thursday 6th August (dep. 6pm)
Breakfast and Beach Day, Easkey FRC: Sunday 9th August (dep. 12 noon)
BOOK YOUR PLACE ON THE BUS TEXT TO 087 989 0336 and bookiungs for the Sunday bus will also take place over the weekend. We may also have a minibus service from the Glasshouse Hotel in the town centre to the apartments after Friday night's Table Quiz/Disco and Saturday's Pride Party. The hotel is only a short distance from the apartments (10 mins walk) and the hotel are happy to book taxis for partygoers also.
